This workshop is a powerful and valuable learning experience for any leader, trainer or consultant who wants to boost their EQ to do a better job of building relationships, managing change, handling stress and conflict and, in general, communicating more effectively. Based on the work of Virginia Satir, an internationally renowned family therapist, author, and teacher, the workshop takes the approach that improving relationships at work and home is based on the ability to access one's inner resources. In the workshop, we show participants how to identify and draw on their inner reserves of intelligence, creativity, determination, sensitivity, and choice to strengthen relationships and solve problems. We also provide a step-by-step method that leaders can use to gain understanding and competence when encountering difficult situations. These methods are highly portable and can be brought back to teams and colleagues in your organisation as well as your family.

Change Fitness

Change is the one thing all humans share, no matter our differences. It’s inevitable, inescapable, and often unpredictable.
Yet, when we talk about change in business, the conversation tends to focus on resistance, fatigue, and overwhelm. Why? Because we rarely pause to understand the nuances of how we experience change, transition, and transformation. Transitions are messy. And while we love the metaphor of caterpillars becoming butterflies, the reality is far more complex. Humans don’t live in a single cocoon—our lives are entangled, and so are our transitions.
Every change in an organization—planned or unplanned—unfolds within a web of overlapping individual and collective transitions. This complexity is why so many people feel they can’t handle one more thing. In partnership with Sonja Blignaut, our Change Fitness journey equips participants with new frameworks, skills, and mindsets to navigate transitions with clarity and confidence.
